Mark it in your books, this year’s Cortaca game will take place on Saturday, November 11th at 1pm in Ithaca.
The game will be played at Butterfield Stadium at Ithaca College though it was believed this year’s Cortaca game would take place at SUNY Cortland.
Last year’s game at Yankee Stadium was home field for Ithaca College, according to the usual rotation schedule between the schools.
Considered the biggest little game in the world, the first Cortaca Jug game began back in 1959 at Ithaca’s South Hill Field, where Cortland won the game, 13-7. This year’s matchup will be the 64th year of the game between the two schools.
