Local News

In September, a woman who used to buy IT equipment for Cornell University was indicted for Grand Larceny in Tompkins County.

Colleen Clauson, 59, who now lives in Reno, Nevada, was accused of purchasing equipment such as cameras, and reselling them online.

Clauson was fired.

An investigation started in January found she had misappropriated more than 367-thousand dollars worth of gear.

Pretrial motions were Friday, according to Cornell Police, and Clauson’s trial date is set for January 30th.
