Cornell Student now ‘Stable’ after being Stabbed Breaking up Fight

Local News

A 21-year-old Cornell student hospitalized after being stabbed last week while trying to break up a fight at Agava Restaurant in Ithaca has been upgraded to stable condition.

The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office are now leading an investigation into that incident, which reportedly occurred Wednesday (February 26) and also involved a second man who was stabbed.

His condition was first reported as critical and has not been updated.

Investigators now say they’re following up on several leads but could not give any more details at this time.

They did ask anyone who might have additional information that could help the investigation to call the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office at 607-257-1345.
