Cortland County Health reminds you if you test positive for COVID, please immediately isolate yourself from others and let any close contacts know they may have been exposed. There will be no more Contact Tracing, it’s up to you to be responsible. If your employer or school needs documentation, the county has it on its website. Download it and fill it out. That’s all the county will provide. If your home test shows positive, you can also report this through the county health website.
State Health again reports 25 new positive COVID tests on Sunday in Cortland County. The Central New York 7-day average of cases per 100,000 people is 51, and is still nearly twice the state average. Cortland County’s COVID-19 Community Level is currently MEDIUM.
