Work remains well underway on Main Street in the City of Cortland and Crown City Rising has provided additional updates on construction for the remainder of the week.
Orchard Street between Main and Haskell Place remains closed as renovations continue at the former Mullens Office supplies. Orchard Street is expected to reopen tomorrow.
The installation of water and sewer services along the east side of Main Street from Clinton Ave. and Court Street continues with pressure testing on the new mains and water laterals. Crews will also be conducting water quality testing simultaneously.
Lastly, the aging vaults that lay under multiple buildings on Main Street continue to be either repaired or renovated for utilities.
