Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli announced yesterday (May 18) that local government sales tax collections grew by 15.7% in April when compared to the same month last year.
Overall, local collections totaled $1.7 billion, which is up $232 million from April of last year.
For Cortland County sales for the month of April was up 21% to $3.2 million compared to $2.7 million in April of 21′.
January to April 22′ overall Cortland County is up 14.6% with $12.4 million dollars. The same time frame last year was $10.8 million.
