Community Rallies Together to Raise Money for Cortland County SPCA After Fridge Breaks

So far, over $1,300 dollars has been raised for the Cortland County SPCA after the SPCA reported a fridge broke with supplies lost as a result. The SPCA says the total value of the supplies that was lost totaled over $1660 dollars, and did not include the price of a new fridge.

The SPCA only requested a small amount of a thousand dollars, but that threshold was broken quickly.

“As more donations come in, we are working on ordering our vaccines, and tests to replace the ones we have lost. Currently we have a limited supply in the meantime.”

The SPCA said in a social media post.

The search for a slightly used fridge is currently going on and one may not be accepted if it has any damages in order to ensure proper cooling. The Cortland County SPCA continues to accept donations. You can make a donation by clicking HERE.
