This past Wednesday, NY Senator Lea Webb hosted a Community Health Resource Fair at the Cortland County Office Building Gymnasium. The fair brought in multiple organizations that were focused on health and wellness providing to the public with information on resources available to them and their families.
“I am thrilled to host this community health resource fair,” said Senator Lea Webb. “This is a great opportunity to ensure that members of the public have access to the wide variety of health and wellness resources available to them here in Cortland County. To build healthy communities, it is so important that we empower our neighbors with information about the resources available to them, so that we can increase equitable access to services.”
During the fair, Senator Webb’s Office also distributed free COVID-19 test kits and masks. Her constituent team was also on hand providing assistance to those attending with any type of issues including: unemployment, HEAP, health insurance, EBT/WIC/SNAP, and more.
In total, over 20 organizations participated in the fair.
