Community Building at Center for the Arts in Homer Receives $50K Grant For Roof Replacement and Insulation

Part of the New York State Council on the Arts’ $22 million dollars in Capital Project Funds, the Center for the Arts in Homer has been awarded $50,000 towards the roof replacement and insulation of the Morton Building, better known as the Community Building.

Overall, 102 projects throughout the state have been awarded funding. The Council says the funding shows their support for investment in crucial building renovations, accessibility improvements and new spaces for both creative and cultural works.
