Common Council Meets Tonight – Mayor Expected to Appoint New Director of Administration & Finance

The City of Cortland Common Council will meet tonight at 6pm on the third floor of City Hall. One notable item for tonight’s agenda is the council’s confirmation of Cortland Mayor Scott Steve’s next Director of Administration & Finance following the departure of Elizabeth Greenwood.

X101 News learned Greenwood left shortly after the January 6th Common Council meeting. X101 reached out to the city for reasoning about her departure, but did not hear back.

Other items on the agenda include approving a collective bargaining agreement with Teamsters Local 317 who represent the Wastewater Treatment Facility employees, approve event permits for Family Fun Fest, and more.
