The City of Cortland Common Council meets tonight at 6pm at City Hall in Downtown Cortland. Residents can either attend tonight’s meeting in person or online via Zoom. Before the meeting tonight there will be a public hearing to allow residents to voice their opinions on the current progress and effectiveness of the Community Development Block Grant Microenterprise Assistance Program.

Tonight’s agenda is relatively short this session, the Council will vote on Authorizing the Code Enforcement Office to enter into contract for snow and garbage removal services, adopting local law number 1 of 2024, limiting tobacco retail sales in the City of Cortland, and proposed zoning amendments to the County Planning Board and set a public hearing date.
The Mayor and Common Council are also expected to discuss the priorities for the 2024 Legislative agenda, and both the City Council Ward and City Priorities for this year.

If you cannot attend the meeting in person tonight, you can find the Zoom link HERE.
