Inclement weather over the weekend led to issuance of two tornado warnings, along with a handful of storm and flood advisories in Central NY.

No cyclone touched down in the area, but high winds did knock down wires on James Street in Homer.

Downed trees also were reported Warren Street; as well as on Grout Brook Road & West Scott Road.

Some areas of Cortland and nearby counties experienced more than 2 inches of rainfall.

More rain and cold weather today will be followed with the return of warmth and sunshine tomorrow.
