The Central New York Spay Neuter Assistance Program (CNY SNAP), an all-volunteer organization, is still looking for volunteers. Volunteers are needed for running the shelter via cleaning, feeding cats and kittens, assisting in fundraising opportunities and fostering animals. Volunteers are also needed for their spay/neutering clinic, which is held twice a week.
CNY SNAP provides all services at a low cost for the public with the organization’s mission to end overpopulation of cats and dogs in the Central New York Region. In addition to the clinic, they also conduct rescues of animals and care for 400 to 500 cats and kittens a year.
All the work is possible through the efforts of organizations volunteers. donations, grants, and adoptions. CNY SNAP serves all counties within Central New York. You can learn more about CNY SNAP, how to donate, or how to volunteer by visiting their website, CNYSNAP.org or following them via Facebook page.
