The Clinton Ave. Improvement Project has entered its final phase for construction, according to CrownCityRising.com.
Construction crews will work to complete the final phase of construction, which includes installing brick pavers near the intersection of Clinton and Main Street, clean and prepare the intersections along Clinton Ave crosswalk replacement, and final pavement striping to follow.
Additionally for Main Street, water mains along the street will continue to be replaced on the West Side of Main Street at the intersection of West Court, Court, and Main Street. Vault work will also continue along both sides of Main Street.
Due to the size of the project, the intersection of West Court and Main Street will be closed today and tomorrow. The closure is tentative on weather conditions both days. Motorists are urged to find an alternative way of travel today and tomorrow.
Parking will also be restricted during the work. The west side of Main Street from Orchard Street to West Court Street will be affected. The Groton Ave. parking lot is being encouraged for visitors and workers to utilize, and parking on Haskell Place.
