City Police release results from the community survey. Full report is included

City of Cortland Police Chief Michael Catalano has released the results of the Community Survey on the Cortland Police Department that was conducted by Dr. Mary Cannito-Coville of SUNY Cortland.

The survey ran from December 2nd to January 29th. 750 households were randomly selected in the City of Cortland.

According to the survey of the 750 households selected 407 surveys were completed, with 382 electronic, 24 paper copy, and 1 survey verbally via phone.

In the survey report, this produced a confidence level of 95% with a margin of error of 5% they said.

38% of those surveyed say they satisfied with the department, with 29% say they were very satisfied, 13% somewhat satisfied, 12% not satisfied and 8% were undecided.
