City of Cortland’s “Visions of Christmas” Tree Lighting This Friday – Santa at Fire Station

This Friday, November 28th, the City of Cortland’s “Visions of Christmas” tree lighting will take place at the fountain at Courthouse Park in Downtown Cortland. The tree lighting festivities will begin at 6pm. The man in red himself, Santa Claus, will arrive with assistance from the City of Cortland Fire Department in a fire truck to join in in lighting the tree.

The City of Cortland Youth Bureau says Studio Z will also be on site providing Christmas music and dancing to continue the holiday spirit. Following the tree lighting, residents will be invited to the Cortland Fire Station on Court Street for hot cocoa, cookies, and pictures with Santa.
