City of Cortland’s Midnight on Main New Year’s Event Next Week

The year 2025 is now less than a week away and celebrations will be taking place in the City of Cortland for the city’s annual Midnight on Main. Beginning at 9pm, Main Street will close between Port Watson/Tompkins Street and Court Street. The City of Cortland says music will be played by local DJ Brett Barnes and two food trucks will be set up.

Those food trucks are Smash Me 607 & Pig Vicious. Later in the evening around 11:30pm, the intersection of Main, Port Watson and Tompkins Street will be closed for spectators to see the ball drop at midnight at the Clocktower building.

After ringing in the New Year, a firework show will take place courtesy of a generous donation by the McNeil & Company. The company donated $10,500 for the show.
