City Of Cortland Wastewater Superintendent Appointed To National Advisory Panel

City of Cortland Superintendent of Wastewater Bruce Adams has been appointed to the Water Environment Federation’s National Wastewater Surveillance System Utilities Community of Practice Advisory Council. 

Adams has been a leader within the City of Cortland’s municipal government, serving as head of the Wastewater Department for over 12 years. Under his guidance the department has achieved several milestones, including implementing a combined heat and power project that significantly reduced the carbon footprint of City government, and hosting several academic and industry research projects. 

Adams says he’s honored to serve on the Advisory Council. He adds that the appointment shows his dedication to advancing wastewater management and to the City of Cortland for pioneering solutions benefiting public health and the environment.
