The City of Cortland Department of Public Works has announced next week will be an opportunity for city residents to have their brush and debris picked up by the department.
The DPW says residents should not place brush and debris in the roadway or mix the two together. Deputy Superintendent of the DPW, Bill Lund told X101 that the month of November will be dedicated to leaf pick up only, no brush.
Residents who have questions regarding next week’s pickup may call the Department of Public Works at 607-756-6221.
