Residents of the City of Cortland will now be able to stay informed on the upcoming downtown revitalization project in Cortland.
The website CrownCityRising.com will contain detailed construction information on Main street and Clinton Ave, a calendar of fun events happening around the city of Cortland including information on the Dairy Parade, Main Street Music Series, and the Farmer’s market, and information on the details and visions for the future of downtown Cortland.
The website will feature blog posts as well as photos, videos and other content through the two-year reconstruction process downtown.
“Coming out of the COVID pandemic we want to make sure we do everything we can to support our local businesses” said Cortland mayor Scott Steve.
This is a partnership between the City of Cortland, Cortland County Business Development Corporation, Cortland County Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, Cortland County Tavern & Restaurant Association, and the Cortland County Chamber of Commerce.
Steve says, “keeping the community informed and engaged throughout this transformative process is key to our long-term success, construction can be disruptive but knowing what that disruption will mean to the future of our community is important.”
