City of Cortland Common Council to Hold Meeting Wednesday Evening Regarding Tentative Budget

The City of Cortland Common Council will hold a meeting this Wednesday, November 12th, beginning at 6pm on the third floor of City Hall. The reason for this meeting is to discuss matters related to the tentative 2026 City Budget.

Clerk for the City of Cortland, Andrew Jewett, says this meeting is the rescheduling of the budget review session that was originally scheduled on October 30th before its cancellation. This meeting will include four agenda items: Health Insurance Discussion, Collective Bargaining/Union Contracts Update, Budget Discussion, and Tobacco Litigation/Article 78 Proceeding Update.
