City of Cortland Common Council Meets Tonight

The City of Cortland Common Council will meet tonight at 6pm at City Hall in Downtown Cortland. Tonight’s meeting will include three proclamations will be presented: Declaring April as Fair Housing Month, April 22nd as Earth Day and April 26th as Arbor Day in the City of Cortland.


Items on tonight’s agenda include approval of special event permits, setting a public hearing date for the 2024 Community Development Block Grant Program and its upcoming funding round, sending a request the State Legislature to amend a tax law to authorize the City of Cortland to have an occupancy tax of 3% for hotels, motels, within the City of Cortland, and more.
