During the City of Cortland’s Common Council last evening at City Hall, the council approved the city budget for the 2023 year.
The budget was finally approved after months of review, revisions and public comments regarding the budget. The total city budget for the 2023 year is around $30 million dollars.
Four copies of the budget will now be certified by the City Clerk with one copying being filed in the Mayor’s Office and one each in the Office of the Director of Administration and Finance, and the City Clerk, there will also be a budget available in the Cortland Free Library.
