More than $112.9 million has been awarded by New York State to 70 projects through the Restore NY Communities Initiative, including a project in the City of Cortland.
The City of Cortland will receive $2 million for the redevelopment of the Parker Elementary School into workforce housing units.
In a statement Gov. Kathy Hochul said the money was handed out to transform vacant, blighted and underutilized properties into community anchors.
