City of Cortland DPW has an announcement regarding the current work on Clinton Ave.
The contractor began excavating & grading the roadway to subgrade, so there is an approximate two-foot deep cut.
They will be placing 12” of subbase, which is going to take some time.
Officials prefer that the general public, unless they have a specific reason to be there, should not be driving on Clinton Ave.
This work will continue every day this week.
