Cortland City Council is expected to hear about new Recycling containers for Main St. at its meeting Tuesday night.
Other agenda items include:
- exotic pet permits: one for three ferrets, another for chickens.
- the local law placing food trucks could be approved
- the Mayor wants aldermen to talk about sales tax distribution, hoping the county will restore a percentage the city gave up temporarily.
Council meets at 7 at City Hall.
Cortland County Legislators planned to review department budgets all day Tuesday, including the Sheriff, Emergency Services, District Attorney/Public Defender, Probation, and County Clerk.
The Tompkins County Legislature could make official the $925-thousand sale of the former County Library at its meeting Tuesday night.
The building gets new life as a 58-unit DeWitt House apartment project.
Legislators also intend to recognize the Groton Library on its 100th anniversary.
Also Tuesday night, the Freeville Village Board meets.
