The driver in a one-car rollover Friday evening (August 30) had to be airlifted to a regional trauma center, following an accident on McFarlane Road near the Cortland-Chenango County line.
Crews with the Cincinnatus Fire Department and Emergency Squad responded to the scene just past 7:00 p.m., arriving to find the driver trapped underneath the vehicle.
They were eventually able to rescue and provide initial first aid to the patient, who was then transported to the Cincinnatus Fairgrounds and flown to a nearby trauma center via LifeNetNY Medical Helicopter.
No more details on the driver’s injuries or condition are available at this time.
