Pitcher Man Arrested For Sex Crimes Against A Minor In Cortland County

A man from the town of Pitcher, Chenango County, was arrested by Cortland Sheriffs last week for sex crimes he committed in the towns of Cortlandville and Solon.

Investigators from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Jamie Andres-Lopez Jr., of Route 23 in Pitcher, following an investigation that revealed he had inappropriate contact with a 13 year old female between March and May 2018

Deputies say the female victim was known to Lopez Jr. and that the crimes happened  at two different locations, one being in the Town of the Cortlandville and the other in the Town of Solon.

Lopez Jr. now faces multiple charges including a 2nd degree felony rape charge.

He was arraigned in both the Town of Cortlandville and Solon courts last Thursday (February 14) and was released with return dates to both courts.
