On Monday morning, a Cayuga County sheriff’s deputy came upon a group of teenagers he thought were disturbing numerous signs in the village of Moravia.
Upon further investigation, he discovered they were actually fixing damage that someone else had caused previously.
The teens also pointed out an American Flag that had been discarded onto the sidewalk.
Sgt. Brian Myers worked with the teens to get everything back in order, including the flag.
The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office acknowledged the incident on Facebook, saying “We do not have the names of those in the group but want to say thank you again for stepping up and doing the right thing. Great job!”
