“We have primary care right down the hallway from specialists. So the ease of communication between your primary care provider and your specialist, let’s say your cardiologist. I can probably just walk right down the hall if I had questions or concerns or a need to collaborate on about a patients care.” Dr. Salomon said to X101.
The new facility is for convivence for patients who before the opening would have to potentially travel to multiple offices throughout Cortland. Cayuga Health’s facility is also designed efficiently for future expansion as well.
“It’s an innovative design in a comfortable setting. We think it has been designed in a very person-centered way. Thinking about the experience that everybody will have and it’s gonna be efficient. The way it is designed we’ve really taken into the principle of new design and the way offices will flow and help patients get the care that they deserve.” Said Dr. Berlin, Chief Strategy Officer for Cayuga Health and Hospitalist to X101.
