Cayuga Health has announced Cayuga Urology has now opened at 201 Dates Drive in Ithaca. Cayuga says Urologist Dr. Jason Cohen has joined Cayuga Medical Associates from Northwestern Medicine and will offer advanced urologic care including medical and surgical options.
“We are excited to welcome Urology as one of our Cayuga Health services,” said Jeff Penoyer, Vice President of Ambulatory Services at Cayuga Health. “While other communities lack urologists, we are fortunate to offer this much-needed care right here in our community to benefit our patients.”
Dr. Cohen’s treatments will use advanced technology that includes robotic-assisted procedures, holmium laser treatments and incisionless techniques. With this, patients will experience minimized pain, lower recovery times, and a better quality of life.
