Cayuga Health Announces Launch of Center For Health Equity Transformation

Cayuga Health’s launch of their Center for Health Equity Transformation will take place on October 1st. Cayuga Health says their organization is on an ongoing mission in improving health equity for all the communities they serve.

The Center for Health Equity Transformation will be a virtual hub on equity strategies, initiatives, and resources, Cayuga Health says. It will bring staff together through the various locations Cayuga Health has and bring them alongside with patients, community partners, and academic centers.

“We recognize that achieving health equity requires a collective commitment to transforming our healthcare system,” said Dr. Martin Stallone, CEO of Cayuga Health. “The Center for Health Equity Transformation, along with the Health Equity Dashboard, represents a crucial step in our mission to ensure that every individual in our community has the opportunity to attain their highest level of health. We are dedicated to eliminating barriers and improving outcomes for marginalized populations.”

Also taking part with the Center for Health Equity Transformation, Cayuga Health will additionally launch a Health Equity Dashboard as part of the center. The dashboard will provide an up-to-date data snapshot that can be used in identifying health disparities. This will also allow staff to dive deeper to understand the gaps and enhance efforts to improve healthcare quality and health outcomes.
