Both the Cayuga Health System (CHS) and Arnot Health, Inc. (AH) have announced they are exploring a collaboration which would mutually benefit the communities both organizations serve.

The Board of Directors from both Cayuga Health and Arnot have announced they are seeking NYS regulatory approval to affiliate as members of a parent company. The new structure would have each system remain intact and continue their missions serving their communities.

If approval is given by the state, Dr. Martin Stallone, MD, MBS, and CEO of Cayuga Health, would serve as the CEO of the new parent company. Both CHS and AH recently completed a study that showed their collaboration would improve access to medical services in the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes Regions.

“As Cayuga Health grows and the landscape of healthcare changes, we are eager to find new ways to nurture and enhance community-based health care services. Our study with Arnot Health uncovered innumerable ways a collaboration could improve the health care delivered across the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes regions,” stated Dr. Martin Stallone, President, and CEO of Cayuga Health.
