Cayuga Center for Wound Healing Awarded Clinical Excellence Award

The Cayuga Center for Wound Healing, part of Centralus Health, has received the Robert A. Warriner III, M.D., Clinical Excellence Award. The award from Healogics, the leading provider of advanced wound care services in the nation, places the facility in the top ten percent of eligible Healogics Wound Care Centers nationwide. Recognition was based on the Center’s patient care and outstanding clinical outcomes.

Wound Care Centers specialize in a range of wound care therapies, including negative pressure wound therapy, total contact casting, bio-engineered tissues, biosynthetic dressings, and growth factor therapies. Also offered is hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which delivers 100 percent oxygen in a pressurized environment to promote wound healing.

Centralus Health, which is the combined affiliations of Cayuga Health and Arnot Health, provides care to 10,000 to 13,000 patients annually at their Healogics-affiliated wound healing centers alone across the Central New York, Southern Tier, and Finger Lakes regions.
