Catholic Charities of Cortland County Announces Summer Lunch Program – To Begin July 1st

The summer lunch program will commence on July 1st, Catholic Charities of Cortland County has announced. The organization will be teaming up with Cortland City Schools once again to help provide free meals to children during their summer vacation. A free lunch will be provided to anyone 18 years of age or younger, no application or registration will be required.

Lunch pickup locations will be at Suggett Park, Barry School, and Beaudry Park. Catholic Charities of Cortland County says this will be a daily nutritious lunch meal. In 2023, over 8,000 meals were served to over 500 children. There will not be lunch served on July 4th and 5th.

Times of when lunch will be served can be found below:

• Suggett Park – July 1 to August 23 from Noon to 1pm
• Barry School – July 1 to August 23 from 10:45am to 11:45am
• Beaudry Park – July 1 to August 23 from 11am to Noon
