It’s John Harrison, your host as always, and of course, joining me over the line, Jon Spaulding, up at Greek Peak Mountain Resort. Jon, thanks so much for joining me for another week of Peak of the Peak.

Jon Spaulding: Thanks for having me on again, John, here we are, day number 86 of this fantastic ski season,

Uh, still looking at a 30 to 60 inch uh, base out there. And, um, the snow just keeps falling.

John Harrison: Yeah.

Jon Spaulding: So uh, as long as it’s falling, we’ll keep going. Uh, we’re, we’re preliminarily looking at, uh, taking this season all the way out through Easter, April 5th.

John Harrison: Yeah. And we’ve had such interesting weather the, these last few weeks that, um, you know, the fact that you guys are able to still have that.

That, you know, 30 inch, you know, minimum depth and, uh, 86 days into the season, still going strong. Um, but you know, as, uh, we like to say around here, buy now, ski now, right ? For people who are, uh, maybe haven’t gotten, uh, too many runs in this season, but know they’re gonna be, uh, more active next season. Uh, you wanna talk about that [00:01:00] 2026-2027 season pass?

Jon Spaulding: Yeah, absolutely. So just think about it so if we go out till April 5th of this year, that’s, That’s a 123 day ski season that we delivered this year. Which is just amazing. So, uh, if you’re thinking about, uh, you know, buying a 2026-2027 season pass, now is your time. The best prices right now?

$635 gets you skiing, um all of next season and for whatever you can get in for the rest of this season, which looks like, like, like I said, you know, uh, out till April 5th. Um, people are always asking me, when’s the best price? It’s now, so, and you’ve only got three more days to uh, uh, get that price because on March 2nd the price will, uh, shoot up on you a little bit.

So. Uh, get your best price now. Be with us the rest of this season, and then all next season too.

John Harrison: Yeah, that’s right. Yeah. Three days left folks, so make sure to jump on that. And that’s, you know, by now, ski now that’s 40 days. Uh, realistically, right? If we’re going through the beginning of April, you have about 40 days to [00:02:00] ski.

Uh, if you do, by that season, pass now covers you for the rest of this season. And of course going into next season. Um, but all right, John, you know, we talked about the buy now, ski now deal, right? Folks, get your season passes. Um, anything else going on up on the mountain? Um, you know, for, for our skiers who already have the season pass, who’ve already been showing up all year, anything, uh, they can look forward to?

Jon Spaulding: Yeah, so we just came off a great event last weekend, Winter Fest. Um, just a great turnout for that and everyone was really happy and here we come back this weekend with, uh. Our, uh, shred the night, uh, promotion. Um, it’s a 24 hour skiathon that we’re hosting that, uh, with the proceeds going to the Cystic Fibrosis Find Foundation.

So there’s still time to sign up for that. Uh, I encourage people to, uh, go to greek peak.net for the details on that and, you know, ski your lives away for 24 straight hours for a great cause.

John Harrison: Yeah. And, you know, can’t beat, uh, you know, a better, uh, runtime than that. right, 24 full hours of skiing. Um, and of course, yes, [00:03:00] it all goes towards a great cause.

Cystic fibrosis. Um, you know, it’s a, it’s an affliction that, that affects so many people in, in so many, uh, different and, and harsh ways. I, I’ve known, uh, a few people who’ve, um. You know, kind of suffered through it and, and persevered through it. And it’s, it’s really great to, to hear that Greek Peak is, um, putting together this, this, this awesome fundraiser.

Um, all right, John, well, you know, starting to run a little short on time. Any, uh, other things you wanna mention? Uh, anything coming up? Um, I hear there’s something to do with weddings up at Greek Peak.
