Two public hearings will start things off:

Regarding EO203 and increasing the number of members on Police commission from 3 to 5.

Proposed local law making Valley View Drive an all way stop at the entrance to Cortland Jr. Sr. High school.

Discussion also returns on the former Parker School, which is in the process of being turned into an early childhood education center for daycare, Head Start, and Early Head Start.

Another resolution looks at an opportunity for the city to collaborate with the County Planner on determining new ward boundaries, based upon the recently completed 2020 Census.

This may include not only changing boundaries, but also potentially the number of council members.

Additionally, council will consider adoption of funding priorities for the American Rescue Plan funds.

Anyone wishing to participate needs to attend in-person on the third flood of city hall, 25 Court Street.

The city Zoning Board of Appeals meets on Monday, September 13th, 2021 at 5:30 pm.

Set for another review is a proposed Byrne Dairy deli retail store & fueling facility at 220-226 Port Watson St.

Currently, an area variance is up for approval. The board will discuss setbacks and the parking layout design.

In-person attendance is also permitted. Masks and other covid-19 guidance remain active.
