The Cortland County Legislative meeting tonight at 6pm and they’ve got few important topics on the agenda, including naming a new Cortland County Health Department director. They’ll take over the position beginning tomorrow.
Also on the agenda is the establishment of the Little York Lake Special Taxing District. The Little York Lake Preservation Society, Inc. recommended the creation of this Special Taxing District for the properties surrounding Little York Lake. This tax district if approved wouldn’t take effect until 2023.
And Cortland County and the County Police Association of Cortland County (CPAC) are expected to have a new contract in place if approved tonight. That agreement would run from Jan 1 2022 to Dec 31 2025.
