Burglary Leads to Catalytic Converter Theft Arrest

State Police checking RMS Gravel on Mott Road in Dryden early Monday found a vehicle in the driveway, with a man inside who told troopers he didn’t have a place to live. Troopers also found stolen property from RMS in that vehicle.



Lawrence Williams, who is 38, was charged with felony Grand Larceny and with drug possession.

Troopers also located and arrested a second man for this crime and two others…Robert Predmore, 29, of Freeville, who is charged with Felony Grand Larceny, Burglary and Criminal Mischief, plus drug possession, and resisting arrest.

Troopers also charged Predmore with the January 13 theft of two catalytic converters from a pickup truck at a cemetery in Ithaca. You may have seen the security camera pictures from that theft.

Troopers were assisted by the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Department and the Village of Dryden Police.
