On June 1st, 2022, the City of Cortland Police Department responded to a call for a burglary on Hill St. in the City of Cortland.
A maintenance worker for the apartment, who was doing work at the property came across suspects within the residence. The apartment was ransacked with all the interior doors broken into.
One of the suspects fought with the maintenance worker while the worker tried to hold the door shut on him before he could escape.
City of Cortland Detectives conducted a thorough investigation of the scene and found evidence that 32 year old Todd M. Brady was the suspect who fought with the worker.
Todd was arrested on a warrant and charged with Burglary in the 2nd, and Criminal Mischief in the 3rd, both Felonies.
He was arraigned and sent to Cortland County Jail where he was already being held on unrelated charges.
