Congressman Anthony Brindisi (D-22) called into WXHC this week to discuss the emerging threat of novel coronavirus across the district and nationwide.
Brindisi was part of a small group of bipartisan legislators invited to the White House last week to come up with a national response strategy with Vice President Mike Pence, after which an $8B funding package was passed to spearhead the effort.
Additionally, the congressman provided updates from recent hearings he led as a member of the House Veterans Affairs committee.
He also briefly went into progress being made with talks to prevent MLB from cutting minor league baseball teams in Binghamton, Syracuse and Auburn.
