District 22 Rep. Anthony Brindisi spoke this week with WXHC News Director Vinnie Bellardini about the recently passed federal stimulus package aimed at helping Americans through the current difficulties caused by COVID-19.
Included in the conversation are details about small business loans, paycheck protection programs and investments in personal protective equipment for frontline workers.
The congressman also got into some of the complications that farmers are having accessing certain funding sources and how Congress may work to change that in the future.
He also co-sponsored a new bill, the Made in America Emergency Preparedness Act, which seeks to “strengthen the manufacturing industry and bolster the supply chain of emergency resources for future crisis.”
