Congressman Anthony Brindisi issued comments Thursday (February 13) applauding the NYS Public Service Commission for opening an investigation into Spectrum’s major outage last weekend, affecting thousands of customers in Upstate New York.
“I am thrilled the New York PSC listened to my call for an investigation,” Brindisi said. “Countless families and businesses were left without internet and the PSC can help us get to the bottom of this. Spectrum needs to be held accountable and look to create redundancies to make sure this type of prolonged outage doesn’t happen again.”
Brindisi called for a public investigation into Spectrum’s outages earlier in the week.
Spectrum customers can still claim a credit for lost service on their next bill by calling the customer service line at 1-855-707-7328.
