Cortland City Council meets Tuesday night.
Members will consider hiring the Center for Governmental Research for $5,000 to analyze and recommend whether the City-owned property at Court and Church Streets is adequate for the city’s public safety needs.
Bridge repairs are also on the agenda.
About a half-million dollars of work on three bridges: Groton Ave over Otter Creek, Rickard Street over the river and Homer Ave over Dry Creek. The federal government would reimburse nearly $400,000.
The Madison Street Bridge over Dry Creek would be repaired separately.
Aldermen are also expected to request the state legislature for permission to charge a new 3% occupancy tax.
