Around 11:50 this morning, a call came in of a reported bank robbery at Tompkins Bank on Main Street in Cortland. The suspect walked into the bank with a note and demanded an unknown amount of currency from the teller.
The suspect fled the scene in a white four-door Mitsubishi with Virginia plates with plate # UYC-3359. The vehicle was being driven by a white female wearing a red t-shirt and was last seen traveling north on Church Street.
Reports describe the suspect as a white male in his 50s with a white beard, longer at the chin, approximately 6’ to 6’3” tall, tattoos on his arms and hands and wearing all dark clothing of a Nike sweatshirt and long pants. It was also reported that he was wearing a blue Yankees baseball cap.
