Sub-Zero Temps to Follow Significant Snowfall in Cortland County

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Cortland County in effect from midnight tonight (December 16) until 6:00 tomorrow evening.

Snow accumulations of around 2-5 inches are expected, which will overspread the area overnight and could be moderate at times, continuing throughout the day tomorrow before tapering off and ending as snow showers in the evening.

Additionally, an arctic cold front will move through the area on Wednesday, bringing falling temperatures, snow showers and possible squalls.

Wind chills around 10 below zero are expected Wednesday night into Thursday.

Plan on slippery road conditions that will have an impact on your morning and evening commutes.
