Salons and barbershops statewide can finally resume what’s become known as “under the mask” services.
Customers may take off their masks once seated safely.
Workers are still required to wear one at all times – and must also wear a full face shield when administering these “under the mask services,” which include personal care treatments like facials, waxing, and shaving.
Additionally, businesses must continue to operate within the state’s NY Forward guidelines.
