The US Department of Agriculture has announced Conagra Brands, Inc, is recalling over 245,000 pounds of frozen chicken strips entree products which may be contaminated with extraneous materials, mainly pieces of plastic.
The frozen chicken products were under the brand of Banquet Chicken Strips Meal and were produced on June 20th, July 11th and 17th.
The affected food boxes would have a best if used date of DEC 11 2024, JAN 01 2025, or JAN 07 2025 with lot numbers of 5009317120, 5009319220, or 5009319820 located on the side of the carton.
A consumer complaint came of plastic in the chicken strip portion of the product, which resulted in an oral injury resulting from consumption. No additional reports of injuries or illness have been found.
