Kourtney J. Hughes was arrested on Sunday (Dec. 26) for striking a 21 year old man in the face with a glass coffee pot. When the officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim with severe lacerations on his face and neck. The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital to treat his non-life threatening injuries.
Hughes was charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and harassment. Hughes was arraigned and remanded to Cortland County Jail. He is scheduled to appear again in City Court on January 19.
