Area Police Report Several Arrests

Michele Proulx of Homer was arrested Saturday night just before midnight, about an hour after State Police were called to Truxton for what police called a domestic dispute.

Police say Proulx was charged with harassment with physical contact and released on bail.

State Police stopped a vehicle operated by Cameron Blanchard, 28, of Cincinnatus, on Rt 11 in Lafayette Saturday evening.

According to the police report, Blanchard received an appearance ticket for possession of a controlled substance, a safety glass violation and for driving without a license, and three suspensions.

Tompkins County Sheriff’s deputies have released information on an arrest from last week.

Skye Fiester, 17, of Groton, is accused of selling marijuana to a juvenile on April 29 in the Town of Groton.

Police say Fiester was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Criminal Sale of Marijuana.

Fiester is to appear in Town of Groton Court next Monday evening.

Early Saturday morning, Cortland Police checked a car parked on Clayton Avenue.

That’s where they found Joann Fletcher, 49, of Endicott at about 2:30 am.

Officers say she was drinking alcohol in the vehicle, and she was arrested for that, DWI, unlicensed operation and other traffic tickets.

She’s to appear in Cortland City Court on May 30.

Felony Criminal Mischief is the charge by Cortland Police against Laron Barclay, 26 of Elmira.

Lt. Rick Troyer tells us Barclay was arrested at about 3 am Saturday for breaking a window at 110 Main Street valued at $1,500.

May 30 is his when he is scheduled in Cortland City Court.
